Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement and career/college readiness for 21st century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access and success for every student.

9/26/18: Deadline to sign-up for PSATs-for more info: PSAT MEMO TO JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES 05.doc

10/1/18 & 10/2/18: UNH NEACAC College Fair on Monday, October 1st, from 6:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday, October 2nd, from 9-11am.  Over 300 college admissions representatives will be on hand representing their schools.  The event will be held in the Lundholm Gymnasium, Field House. For more info visit:

10/2/18:  ‘College 101 Presentation’ for parents/guardians of seniors on  at  6:30 pm in the Auditorium.

10/16/18: Financial Aid Night for seniors and their parents/guardians will be on October 16th at 6:30 in the Auditorium.  A financial aid representative will review the ins and outs of the financial aid process.  This event is for Seniors and their parents/guardians.
