For Families

Dover High School Family Information Update

December 13, 2017

Progress Reports were distributed in Advisory today and are available on the parent portal.   At this point, there has been no adjustment made to the Quarter II schedule or the Semester I Exam Schedule.

Our Annual Holiday Concert will be held on December 20 at 7:00 pm at the High School.  Come and enjoy our Band, Concert
Choir, Jazz Band and Soundwaves.

We need the help of our families to complete the Endicott Survey as part of our accreditation process.  At this point we have had 10% participation and need to reach 25% participation to be able to proceed with this part of the process.  The information needed to take the survey is listed below.  The survey takes about ten minutes to complete. We appreciate your help in helping us meet our participation rate.

An email was sent to all Dover High School families on Monday, November 13th asking for your participation in a survey that must be completed as part of our accreditation with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.  It is an important part of our self-study, providing feedback on the school’s strengths and areas where improvement is needed.  Below is the information needed to complete the survey and we thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

Please review the email for the website and access codes.

The Dover School District has started a new Facebook Page with information about upcoming events and brief blurbs on events taking place in the District.  Please visit the page for information and updates about all the remarkable things going on at Dover High School and throughout the District.

Repeated Information

The Dover Police Department wishes to pass along a friendly reminder to both students and parents that the use of any handheld mobile electronic device while driving is against the law.  The use of handheld electronic devices while driving causes significant distractions to the driver, and increases your chances of being involved in an accident.  The Dover Police Department strictly enforces all laws pertaining to the Use of Mobile Electronic Device While Driving.

We ask that you do not stop to drop off or pick up students on Alumni Drive.  We only want students crossing the street in crosswalks.  This practice is dangerous and negatively impacts traffic flow

Sincerely,

Peter Driscoll
Dover High School Principal
